Who We Are

Barnaby Brewing Company is a nano brewery located in downtown Juneau, Alaska specializing in American-style ales with the occasional outlier. BBC also serves handcrafted sodas, kombucha and cold brew nitro coffee.

Our 1-barrel brewing system allows us to experiment with a variety of ingredients. We strive to make “beer from here” by often incorporating locally-harvested ingredients like spruce tips, dandelions and salmonberries.

Brew News

8/16 -- Growler fills came and went! Thanks for all who stopped by. We'll update when our stock is up and fills are on again.

8/4 -- New beer on tap!

7/10 -- The results from the U.S. Beer Open just came out and we're stoked to announce that our McSteamy - California Common took Gold!

Events

AUGUST

First Friday

August 4th. We're so looking forward to this one y'all. Shelley Gillaspey, owner of Alaska Beach Creations in Sitka, will be our First Friday (and the month of August) artist. Shelley is a local Sitka gal who enjoys the Alaska life and makes some really great art pieces sourced from the beaches surrounding Sitka. Her drift wood art will compliment any space and we hope you can come down and check out everything she has to offer! Head over to our Facebook event page to get a sneak peek of her work.

BBC will be releasing Déjà Brew, a collaboration with Amalga Distillery utilizing the spent botanicals from their first batch of gin. We brewed up a Sahti beer. It is a historic Finnish beer that is traditionally flavored with juniper berries. A cloudy beer with yeasty and phenolic flavors. Stop by First Friday to get your first taste of this brew. We’ll be offering 6oz and 12oz pours for this event.

SEPTEMBER

First Friday

September is gonna be a fun one! We've asked the Facebook group: Juneau, Alaska ROCKS to be our featured artists for the month and we couldn't be happier. The group was created by Melanie Rodriguez following a nationwide trend which promotes a few things: creativity, exercise and spreading happiness. Rocks are collected and painted and left on trails (or in public places) throughout the community for others to find and enjoy. The group has had an influx of new members and continues to grow daily. We support anything that has a positive impact on our community and can't wait to see what some of the group members have to share with you on September 1st

Capital Brewfest

We've been invited to pour at Juneau's very own Capital Brewfest, a charity event for the Rotary Club of Juneau and Housing First. The event will be held on September 23rd at the Juneau Arts and Cultural Center. Get your tickets here and we'll see you at Capital Brewfest!

OCTOBER

Something exciting is happening..stay tuned.
