Who We Are

Barnaby Brewing Company is a nano brewery located in downtown Juneau, Alaska specializing in American-style ales with the occasional outlier. BBC also serves handcrafted sodas, kombucha and cold brew nitro coffee.

Our 1-barrel brewing system allows us to experiment with a variety of ingredients. We strive to make “beer from here” by often incorporating locally-harvested ingredients like spruce tips, dandelions, and salmonberries.

Brew News

We're excited to announce that this Fall/Winter we will be teaming up with our friends at the Southeast Alaska Food Bank. We should have more details on how you can help in the next coming weeks.

NOVEMBER

November 3 Meet me In Alaska is a company founded on a simple idea – “to share our love and pride for Alaska.” Kelsey Erickson-Kizer, the company’s founder and main artist, embodies the values of this simple idea and dedicates her time and efforts to share them with as many people as she can. Her November Art Show is twofold; showcasing her highly-anticipated “Gratitude” exhibit and “Paper Art,” her newest medium that presents vibrancy and a little bit of self-reflection.

“Gratitude” is dedicated to the expression of love, and appreciation. For this exhibit, Kelsey asked more than a dozen Alaskans what they were ‘grateful’ for about their state and requested pictures or images of what made them grateful. People from across Alaska submitted their images and Kelsey hand-picked several that told a story about the wonderful state she calls home. It embraces culture, scenery, and a whole lot of love.

In “Paper Art,” Kelsey dedicated this second exhibit to show how diverse art can be. She is inspired by beautiful designs on paper and enjoys mixing up her art mediums. The pieces presented in this half are primarily images of wildlife that can be found throughout Alaska, and is meant to speak to you through fun and bright images, to inspire your imagination and possibly, some décor.

Come out and meet the artist this November at November’s First Friday Event.

November 11 We are honoring our Veterans, past and present! Stop by the brewery to claim your beer from our "Buy a Vet a Beer" event while supplies last. Must have valid military ID present. One vet beer per vet.

DECEMBER

December 1 is Gallery Walk in downtown Juneau, which is the biggest First Friday event of the year and we've got a great show lined up for you. Stop by the brewery to view Cameron Vance's show titled Winter Blues. Vance is a self-taught artist and will be displaying acrylic on canvas pieces that are a bit moody and dark.

BBC will be releasing Resting Bitch Face, our seasonal cranberry spruce tip fruit beer that will be sure to put you in the holiday spirit.
